Topics covered include blood and airborne diseases, disease transmission prevention, engineering controls, legal obligations and best practices regarding bio-hazardous waste disposal and exposure. The class will also review your company’s Exposure Control Plan, ensuring employees are familiar with your specific policies and procedures.  Taking this course will allow your company to fulfill the annual OSHA requirements for blood borne pathogen training (29CFR1910.1030).
