This course is one of the few first aid courses approved by the New York State Department of Health for Summer Camp Directors.  Students taking this course will learn about the interdependence of human body systems and assessment and treatment techniques for a variety of injury and illness emergencies.  Candidates will be expected to pass a written exam upon completion of the class.

Usual class time: 12 – 16 hours.
