The course emphasizes a team approach to patient care, while developing each individual’s role as a leader. Professional CPR, cardiac pharmacology, ECG recognition and treatment algorithms are all covered in this seven-hour-long class.
Now you can complete the didactic learning in the comfort of your own home, on your lunch break, or anywhere you have a computer and an internet connection. You will have 30 days to complete the course from the time you activate the key code.
Once you successfully complete the written exam, you will print or email the electronic course completion certificate to us and set up an appointment to perform the skills practice and testing portion of the class. This culminates in you performing BLS skills and running two “mega-code” scenarios. Successful completion of the course results in American Heart Association certification.
