Basic Life Support Training in Miller Place, NY
This course is intended for health care providers and professionals who are expected to perform CPR as a part of their everyday job. Students taking this course will learn additional assessment techniques, the use of a Bag-Valve-Mask (BVM) for ventilation, and indications for Narcan (naloxone hydrochloride) administration. Students taking this course will be expected to pass a written exam. Certification through the American Heart Association is awarded immediately upon completion. A version of this class is also available through the National Safety Council.
Usual class time: – 3.5 – 4 hours
